有熱心朋友抓到前一篇四個錯誤，其中一個比較嚴重，如下：

1) It could be exhilarating, 把It寫成I

2) ....being made in the sciences, 科學science應該用複數

3) reducing...highest human achievement, 漏打human

4) public education(公立學校教育)，誤寫為politic education，嚴重錯誤！

美國教育是階級化的，中低收入家庭兒女接受不到好的教育，所以比爾蓋茲強調要建立強大的公立學校教育(strong public education)，讓教育普及；其實，美國教育是貴族制度的產物，簡單講，有錢有勢才能受到高等教育，不然學習成績再好，名牌大學會設下層層關卡不要你進去。現在階級已經成形，底層人根本不願意讀書，蓋再多公立學校只是拿來養蚊子。

And I knew nothing about the millions of people living in unspeakable poverty and disease in developing countries.

It took me decades to find out.

You graduates came to Harvard at a different time.

You know more about the world’s inequities than the classes that came before.

In your years here, I hope you’ve had a chance to think about now how, in this age of accelerating technology, we can finally take on these inequities and we can solve them.

Imagine, just for the sake of discussion, that you had a few hours a week and a few dollars a month to donate to a cause, and you wanted to spend that time and money where it would have the greatest impact in saving and improving lives.

Where would you spend it?

這個片語來自Cheat someone out of something, 「騙走某人身上的東西」，後來出現另一種被動式的用法，be cheated out of something，意思改變了，變成「被剝奪」，某人的被剝奪某種應屬於他的東西

And I knew nothing about the millions of people living in unspeakable(言語無法形容的) poverty(貧窮) and disease in developing countries(開發中國家).

1) Unspeakable

這個字專門用來講無法用言語形容的爛、壞透了，千萬不能含情脈脈看著女朋友說Unspeakable，這種難以言語的情況，要用Speechless，”The beauty of your eyes left me speechless.” (妳的眼睛美得叫我說不出口)

2) Developing country

開發中國家，又稱為第三世界國家Third World Country，已開發國家是Developed Country

It took me decades(幾十年) to find out(知道).

1) Find out到底是「發現」「查明」，還是「知道」？

如果Find out沒有皆任何受詞，意思只是「知道」，而不是大費周章去探索，比方世足賽，大家看了兩個小時綠玻璃，雙方還是0比0，進入PK，於是記者說：”Let’s wait and find out! (我們等一下就會知道！)”

Class不僅僅是班級，還表示「某屆畢業生」，比方今年2016年畢業生叫Class 2016，今年高中新生，Class 2019？不一定，如果留級，妳/你可能是Class 2020

Take on是一個多功能片語，分為對人或對事情，今天先講對事情，take on something，有兩種用法，第一種是Undertake something，承擔某件事或某責任，特別是艱鉅的任務，第二種是具備某種特質，比方，This website is taking on a brand new look. (這個網站將要改頭換面)

Imagine, just for the sake of(為了…) discussion, that you had a few hours a week and a few dollars a month to donate(捐獻) to a cause(給慈善機關), and you wanted to spend that time and money where it would have the greatest impact(影響力) in saving and improving lives.
